Whether you are sitting on idle credit card reward points or planning to spend with any of Maharaja Club's lifestyle partners, May 2026 is the right time to act. The bonus is on top of what you already earn - so it is essentially free points for doing things you may have planned anyway.

Air India Maharaja Club Points Fest - earn up to 50% bonus Maharaja Points across 100+ partners through May 2026.

What Is the Maharaja Club Points Fest?

The Points Fest is a limited-time bonus offer from Air India's Maharaja Club frequent flyer program. It gives members two ways to earn bonus Maharaja Points - by shopping with eligible lifestyle partners or by converting reward points from bank credit cards into Maharaja Points. The more you participate, the more you earn.

Offer Period: 1 May 2026 to 31 May 2026

Two Ways to Earn Bonus Points

1) - Shop with Maharaja Club Partners

Spend with any eligible Maharaja Club lifestyle partner during May 2026 and earn a flat 50% bonus on every transaction. For example, if a purchase normally earns you 200 Maharaja Points, you get 300 instead - the extra 100 are your bonus at no added cost.

The cap is 2 lakh bonus Maharaja Points per eligible partner.

How to do it:

Step 1 - Register for the offer on the Air India website using your Maharaja Club ID. This step is mandatory. If you skip it, your transactions will not be eligible.

Step 2 - Shop with any eligible partner as you normally would during the offer period.

Step 3 - Your bonus points will be credited to your account after the transaction is verified.

2) - Convert Your Credit Card Points

If you hold reward points on a bank credit card that partners with Maharaja Club, you can transfer those points into your Maharaja Club account and earn a bonus based on how many Maharaja Points you receive. The bonus is tiered - the more you convert in one go, the higher the percentage you unlock.
Here is how the bonus works:

Maharaja Points Received from Conversion

Bonus You Earn

1 to 25,000

10%

25,001 to 50,000

20%

50,001 to 75,000

30%

75,001 to 1,00,000

40%

Above 1,00,000

50%

The cap is 2 lakh bonus Maharaja Points per eligible conversion partner. This means the maximum bonus you can earn from a single partner transfer is 2 lakh bonus points, regardless of how much you convert beyond that threshold.

How to do it:

Step 1 - Register on the Air India website using your Maharaja Club ID before you initiate any conversion.

Step 2 - Go to your bank's rewards or transfer page and convert your points to Maharaja Points.

Step 3 - Your bonus points will be credited once the conversion is processed.

Is the Maharaja Club Points Fest Worth It?

For the conversion route, yes - if you were already planning to move your credit card points to Maharaja Club, doing it in May means you get a bonus you would otherwise miss. There is no downside to timing your conversion during this period.

For the shopping route, it makes sense if you were already going to spend with one of the eligible partners. The 50% bonus is a nice extra. But it is not worth spending just to chase bonus points - the value of the points rarely justifies unplanned purchases.

This is the most common mistake people make with these offers. Once points are transferred or converted, they cannot be reversed. So make sure you are comfortable with the transfer before you confirm it. Bonus points may take a few weeks to appear in your account after your transaction.

Before converting, check whether your card has been recently devalued - that could affect the real value you are transferring. Here is a full tracker of credit card reward changes in 2026: Credit Card Devaluations: What’s Changing in 2026

Managing your points across credit cards and loyalty programs can get confusing - especially when transfer ratios, partner lists, and reward values keep changing. SaveSage helps you keep track of your rewards, understand their real value, and never miss offers like this one.
