Axis My Zone Credit Card Review: Benefits, Fees and Is It Worth It?
Axis My Zone Credit Card is a paid lifestyle credit card built around recurring merchant discounts, a first-year entertainment subscription and a few conditional travel perks. Its biggest attractions are recurring discounts on Swiggy, movie offers through District, a complimentary Sony LIV Premium subscription in the first year and conditional domestic airport lounge access.

The card can easily recover its ₹500 + GST annual fee if you already use these benefits. However, it isn't designed to maximise cashback or reward points across everyday spending. Whether it's worth applying for depends on how naturally these lifestyle benefits fit your monthly spending.
Axis My Zone Credit Card at a Glance
Feature | Details |
Joining fee | ₹500 + GST |
Annual fee | ₹500 + GST* |
Welcome benefit | Sony LIV Premium annual subscription worth ₹1,499, first year only* |
Reward rate | 4 EDGE Reward Points per ₹200 on eligible spends, around 0.4% effective value |
Annual milestone | 1,000 EDGE Reward Points on ₹1.5 lakh of qualifying anniversary-year spending |
Lounge access | 1 domestic visit per quarter after ₹50,000 eligible spend in the previous 3 months |

Reward exclusions | Utility and telecom, rent, wallet loads, government spends, insurance, gold and jewellery, fuel, cash advances and repayments do not earn EDGE Reward Points |
Notes:
* Axis Bank does not currently list a standard spend-based fee waiver for My Zone. The ₹1.5 lakh milestone gives 1,000 EDGE Reward Points but does not waive the annual fee. Some users may still get the card as Lifetime Free or under a different fee offer, so confirm the fee on your application page.
* To get the Sony LIV welcome benefit, complete your first purchase within 30 days of card issuance. The voucher is sent by SMS and may take up to 45 days. Reversed or cancelled transactions are excluded from milestone calculation, and the 1,000-point milestone reward may take up to 90 days.

Where Axis My Zone Delivers Value
Swiggy and District are the card's two main recurring benefits, while Cleartrip, dining and fuel work as supporting offers.
Merchant | Offer |
Swiggy | ₹120 off twice a month on orders above ₹500 using code AXIS120 |
District | Up to ₹200 off the second movie ticket, once a month, using code AXIS200 |
Cleartrip flights | 7% off up to ₹2,000 |
Cleartrip hotels | 18% off up to ₹4,000 on bookings of ₹4,000 or more |
EazyDiner | Up to 15% off, capped at ₹500, on a minimum bill of ₹2,500, until 31 July 2026 |
Fuel | 1% surcharge waiver on transactions of ₹400 to ₹4,000, capped at ₹400 per statement |
None of these offers is exceptional on its own. The value comes from using them consistently, throughout the year, without requiring additional spends. If Swiggy and District are already part of your routine, the recurring savings can comfortably offset the ₹500 + GST annual fee.
Each offer comes with its own conditions, such as minimum order value, monthly usage limits, eligible payment methods and offer conditions. Checking these before making a purchase helps ensure you don't miss the discount.
Notes:
Swiggy: Capped at twice per month, per Swiggy user ID. Haldiram's restaurants across India are excluded.
Cleartrip: Use code CTAXISMYZONE; flights have no minimum booking value but repeat usage should be checked against current terms.
Fuel: GST on the surcharge isn't refunded. Eligible credit-card-on-UPI fuel payments also qualify, RuPay variant only.
Airport Lounge Access Explained
Condition | Details |
Access | 1 domestic visit per calendar quarter |
Spend requirement | ₹50,000 in eligible spending during the previous 3 calendar months* |
New-card relaxation | Requirement waived during the issuance month and the next 3 calendar months |
Spending excluded | Bill repayments, interest, fees, charges and reversals |
* The ₹50,000 threshold works out to about ₹16,667 a month, which most users won't hit without deliberate spending shifts. If lounge access is your main priority, compare it with credit cards for airport lounge access before choosing My Zone for travel benefits.
Who Is Eligible for Axis My Zone?
Applicants are generally required to be 18 to 70 years old and may be resident Indians or NRIs. Axis Bank does not publish a fixed My Zone-specific minimum income and approval depends on its internal assessment.
Other Charges to Know
A few charges can materially affect the card's value if you use it beyond regular lifestyle offers:
Finance charge: 3.75% monthly
Cash withdrawal fee: 2.5%, minimum ₹500
Forex markup: 3.5%
Dynamic currency conversion markup: 1.5%
Reward redemption fee: ₹99
Late-payment fee: Up to ₹1,200, depending on the amount due
Category-based fees: Fees may apply on rent, third-party education payments, wallet loads, online gaming, utilities and high monthly fuel spends, based on statement-cycle thresholds
Like most credit cards, these charges can quickly outweigh the value of the card's benefits if you're not careful. The card works best when you pay the full statement balance every month and use it primarily for eligible lifestyle spending rather than high-fee categories such as rent or wallet loads. Check the latest Axis Bank schedule of charges before using the card heavily for rent, utilities, wallet loads, fuel or similar high-fee categories.
How Much Value Can You Actually Get?
Axis Bank illustrates up to ₹9,739 in first-year benefits, but that figure assumes heavy use of nearly every offer on the card, including Swiggy, District, Sony LIV, fuel savings, lounge access and the full ₹1.5 lakh of reward-earning spends needed for the milestone bonus. Most cardholders won't hit all of these in a single year.
A more realistic picture: use the Swiggy discount once a month and that's ₹120 x 12, or ₹1,440 a year. Add the District offer used six times a year at ₹200 each, and that's another ₹1,200. Together, this comes to around ₹2,640 in gross value, before subtracting the ₹500 + GST annual fee. This is a more dependable number to plan around than the bank's maximum first-year figure.
Who Should Get the Axis My Zone Credit Card?
Axis My Zone suits regular Swiggy users and people who frequently book two movie tickets. The recurring Swiggy and District discounts can recover the ₹500 + GST annual cost when they already match your normal spending.
Skip if you want cashback across most purchases or scalable rewards. It works best as a selective lifestyle card rather than a primary rewards or travel card.
